The Sound of the Trumpet Conferece!

If any of you read Emilie's most recent post, that explains where our family spent the better part of last week.  We arrived on Wednesday evening, and worked hard on Thursday and Friday to prepare for the best conference of the whole year!!!!  I didn't take many pictures, Em said I should post some.

During the conference, there were many gifted speakers who shared and exhorted.  We sang many beautiful songs praising our Creator, and we enjoyed the glorious weather and landscape of the Parish ranch.  It was a rich time for all of us!

The shop was re-decorated

I couldn't stop taking pictures of the irresistible children running around everywhere.  They are all familiar with a lens in their face. :)

Armed and ready

Praise God for a wonderful weekend of sharpening, encouragement, friends and exhortation!

~Another birthday to celebrate~

Put your hands together for Delaney Marin Beyer......who turns 14 today!!!!! (Pauses to clap)

I love looking at pix of Delaney--she can make more faces than anyone in the family.  I love her so much.

Since my sis doesn't especially care for emotional, touching, make-you-cry type stuff said about her (in excess), I will restrain myself and get to the point.

Happy Birthday, Dee.  You made these 14 years awesome!

The first picture of us together...I think she got a bad first impression of me or something.

Feliz cumpleanos!

Libbey Brin Beyer turns 8 today!!  Three cheers for Lib!  She's been such a joy in our lives, and the best littlest sister I could ever have. <3

And, as I love looking back on old photos, here are some, along with some recent:

The day that was not expected

This is very delayed in coming, but I had to post pictures of the snow day we had recently.  On February 20th, at only 2,218 feet in elevation, we got 7 inches of fluffy, white snow!  God was even gracious enough to let the huge, dead branch in front of our house fall down from the weight.  Dad was grateful for that.

We girls played outside for a while, but it was really cold and a little windy, so we mostly enjoyed the snow from inside.  I did take a lot of pictures, so I made a web album.  Here's the link: Snow Day

Have a lovely day!
